The following is just a sample of what our Post does to
help our veterans and our community:
- We donate to many of the local schools and support local school sports
- We support several institutions including Hosea House and St. Jude
- We support Wreaths Across America that honors veterans by placing wreaths on their graves
- We support the Boy Scouts
- We sponsor a Post baseball team

The mission statement of the American Legion is “The American Legion strengthens our communities, states and nation with programs and services for our veterans, the military and their families.”

- ADVANCING THE VISION - which means The American Legion educates, mentors and leads new generations of Americans
- HONOR THOSE WHO CAME BEFORE US - which means The American Legion pays perpetual respect for all past military sacrifices to ensure they are never forgotten by new generations
