Sons of the American Legion

S.A.L. members include males of all ages whose parents or grandparents served in the U.S. military and were eligible for American Legion membership
Simon Kenton Post 20
Squadron 20

Meetings are the first Wednesday
of each month at 1800 (6 PM)

The mission of the SAL is to support veterans and their families and the policies of our parent organization, The American Legion
Virtually everything that involves the SAL could be grouped under three areas:
- Support for veterans and their families
- Promoting patriotism and Americanism
- Promoting programs which benefit the youth of our country

Some of what our Squadron does to help our veterans and our community:
2026/2027 Officers
| COMMANDER | E Anderson |
| Vice Commander | D Bedenbender |
| Adjutant | K Hayes |
| Treasurer | R Bowers |
| Chaplain | J Bowers |
| Advisor | R Huser |

Why would someone want to join
the Sons of the American Legion?
For many, membership in the SAL has allowed them to become involved in American Legion programs alongside their fathers while others join out of respect for their parents' and grandparents' service to our country in the military and others join to forge lifelong friendships with people who share a common bond.
